Our project grew from a few rooms to the renovation of the entire home. Before we selected Urban Loop Studio, we were stumped about how to marry different ceiling heights in our main living area where we were removing a wall. We hired Poonam in part because she's holding a master of architecture degree as well as a designer; she suggested vaulting the ceiling & it looks amazing. We've also completed 2 of 3 bathrooms so far, & they are stunning. She's taken our ideas & tweaked them to make the designs more interesting & cleaner. It's been fun learning about design from her; little things have been huge, like using an unexpected dark, warm grout color to make accent tile stand out. Poonam has a really great eye & ability to marry vintage & contemporary designs. It's very obvious she loves her work, & she's also fun to work with. My husband & I highly recommend her.

Poonam Patel w/Urban Loop Studio did a phenomenal job of redesigning & renovating our home. Having a designer who is a skilled architect opened up what was possible with our home & resulted in a much more open concept living room/kitchen. The house looks open, airy & charming & is much more functional. She redesigned the space to include larger windows, wonderful lighting, storage, bathrooms, kitchen & dining room. She did an amazing job & was a pleasure to work with.

We worked with Poonam on designing and furnishing our new home in Little Elm, TX. We were looking for professional help but also wanted someone that we could connect with at a personal level - be able to understand our tastes and talk to us as a friend. And Poonam was all of that and more! Her approach is engaging and in a way makes you think about design concepts like you have not thought about before. And this was important for us. We are not naturally creative but also have opinions. And Poonam was able to 'coax' this thinking out of us - she balanced her creative ideas with our needs and likes and ultimately got us to a place where we felt that we designed our home. And now looking back, we don't think we would have been happy any other way. She's also very organized and very transparent in her approach - budgeting, tracking, scheduling, etc. Overall an absolute pleasure to work with and we strongly recommend her!

We worked with Poonam on our home remodel. From the design of the new spaces to the paint colors, she was with us at every juncture. She first asked us to make boards on Houzz and Pinterest so she could gauge our design interests. Then she took our needs and wants and created 2D and 3D images of the new spaces. She pushed us to make sure we had a home we LOVED not just liked. Her attention to detail was a real plus as it made us create a functional home as well as a beautiful one. The plans she drew up were so accurate that the contractors we had bid on our project were all impressed. She added small touches that we would never have considered had we designed the project ourselves. She also had a wealth of resources that made our project a little less painful! We have incredibly busy lives and she knew when to push and when to give us space. We constantly get compliments on the house! We highly recommend Poonam for your next renovation/design needs.

Poonam did a fantastic job designing 2 spaces in our home: our dining room and our entry room. She worked pretty closely with us from the beginning to understand our needs, what the rooms would be used for, our tastes and preferences, and our budget. She is very detailed oriented and very meticulous, and she found pieces of furniture and decor we were in love with! I am picky when it comes to home decor, and Poonam would not settle for anything I didn't absolutely love, even if that meant she would have to search longer. She brings really great ideas to the table and thinks about things that nobody else does. She also makes sure that once everything arrives it is set up correctly in the room and she follows through with all the different vendors. On top of that, she is very personable and really a nice person to work with. I highly recommend.
